How SwiftComply is transforming compliance in 2020
It has been just over a year since SwiftComply’s acquisition of XC2 software, so what better time to reflect on our progress so far and look ahead to some of our plans in 2020.
SwiftComply was born out of the idea that effective use of technology and data can help utilities overcome many of the legacy issues that define the water industry. Our acquisition of XC2 is the next step in our mission to help water utilities protect human health and the environment through innovative digital solutions.
Since acquiring XC2, the SwiftComply team has been hitting the road and meeting up with XC2 customers across the country. Over the last year, we have had in-person meetings with 150 customers to discuss their challenges and find out how we can better support and enhance their compliance programs.
We also attended over 40 industry conferences across the country. You can check out the conferences we are attending this year here. Let us know if you see an event you are planning on attending; we’d love to connect.
We have big ambitions for ourselves and our customers, so these opportunities to gather feedback are invaluable when it comes to informing our development team about the new features and enhancements that will make the most impact.
SwiftComply Backflow (coming soon!)
Our development team has been busy working on our new backflow solution. XC2 set a high bar with its current functionality, but we are excited to by the improvements we have been able to make. With SwiftComply Backflow, you can expect more flexibility, better customization, online report entry, enhanced annual reporting, more integrations, and all-round more user-friendly features.
Program management service
We launched a “program management service” to help our customers with program admin tasks: our team handles all mailings of 1st & 2nd notices and allows you to focus on the higher priority compliance issues while retaining full oversight of your data.
Workshops and online training
Throughout 2020 we want to make training more accessible and improve your overall customer experience.
We will be hosting ten regional user group meetings. The goal is to give our customers a platform to share their challenges and learn together. The first two took place in Easy Valley and Colorado Springs and have been a great success. Anyone interested in hosting a user group can find out more information here.
We will soon be kickstarting our new video training series covering all of the main XC2 features and highlighting tips and tricks to help our customers get the most out of the platform and their investment.
From April 1st we’re also extending our customer support hours, our lines will open at the earlier time of 8.30 am EST / 7.30 am CST / 5.30 am PST until 4.30 pm PST.
Internally our team has grown significantly over the last couple of months. I am delighted to welcome Liz, Sophie, and Marissa alongside Lauren, Bill, and Zach on our customer success team. We all wish Randy and Sara the vert best in their well-earned retirement.
2020 is already shaping up to be our busiest year yet as we continue to expand our team, product, and continue on our mission to help cities protect public health and the environment.
